WEB DEVELOPER (Freelance)

We are looking for people we enjoy working with, who see interactive design/development as a lifestyle and not just a job. We are a small group of utility tools, that manage a lot of different types of work. We all like various aspects of projects - we're the cool kids and the nerds.

We don't see this as a "position" but rather a relationship to interact on several projects. Depending on the project, and if things work between us, we could simply put you in the driver's seat or you would work directly with our team to execute portions of the work.

Position Requirements:

• Proficiency in PHP & MySQL.
  
• AS3 would be great, not required.
  
• Expert knowledge of W3C standards.
  
• Broad development experience in web-based technologies.
  
• Expert knowledge of (X)HTML/CSS with focus on browser consistency and semantic markup.
  
• Experience working/customizing common open source web apps (WordPress a major plus).
  
• Experience integrating dynamic data (Web Services/XML/JSON/AJAX) with Flash.
  
• JavaScript experience, particularly with jQuery, AJAX, and other enhancement techniques / libraries.
  
• Understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, interaction, architecture, user interfaces, and navigation.
  
• Driven to define the look and feel of large, industry-leading sites and interactive marketing campaigns.
  
• Strong communication skills. We want to work with you, not you by yourself.
  
• Be cool, know your shit. You are the professional, we treat you like one. You tell us what else you need to know.

Position Requirements:
Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, RGB vs CMYK, and Macs.
